Bio
I've been playing music for over 20 years across many instruments, but bass is my #1 and the where I'm at home. I'm a pocket player who plays for the song first - I can improvise over charts or learn exact lines to support the sound you're looking for. I can read music and am comfortable with music theory.
I've played dive bars, large breweries, private parties, and dedicated stage shows for 100+ people, across rock, country, metal, and blues — both covers and original material. Beyond bass, I can sing harmonies and some lead (baritone), and I have a knack for arrangement and lyrics.
My influences range from James Jamerson and the Nashville session guys of the '60s–'00s to Tim Commerford (Rage Against the Machine), Cliff Burton (Metallica), Geezer Butler (Black Sabbath), Jesse Brotter (Crumb), and everything in between.
